Starvoxel: Defender

Build and share an eight-card deck

Plan a lineup for Starvoxel: Defender 2.0 with current card abilities, real merge rules and a free share-code builder. Pick any eight different released defenders, then try the deck in the mobile game.

30 released cards. No account needed. No cost or rarity restrictions.

0 of 8 selected. Any eight unique cards make a legal deck.

    Your deck code

The code stores your eight cards only. Card levels, stars, evolutions and ownership stay in the game.

    Card stats and abilities

Your code will appear when eight unique cards are selected.

    A practical deck strategy guide

Starvoxel: Defender mixes collectible-card deckbuilding with merge tower defense and auto-battler rounds. Build around effects you understand, then use the planner above to test a focused idea.

Start with a combo you can explain

Try one interaction pair first. Ember Fox applies Burn and Fuse Salamander can detonate an already Burning target. Frost Penguin’s splash hits Chill, which Frost Walrus can Shatter. Tide Otter’s hits apply Soak, which Thorn Boar can punish. These are current card effects to experiment with, not a claim that any pair is best in every run.

Know what your hand draw is doing

Each round offers three cards from your eight-card deck. Cards cost 3, 5 or 7 gold, and the game weights cost bands by round. Adding more cards of one cost does not increase that band’s overall draw weight; it gives you more choices when that band is drawn. A cost band missing from your deck is normalized out.

    Choose when to merge

Two matching defenders at the same star merge into the next star, up to 3★. Their attack scales from 1x to 2x to 4x, but attack speed does not increase. Before merging, check whether keeping both pieces would support a board effect or help cover a different job.

    Place for abilities, not range

The board is 3x3, and defenders can attack across the field. Some abilities care about nearby allies: Arc Owl boosts adjacent defenders, while Prism Chameleon benefits from different defender types next to it. Read each card’s ability, then leave the right neighbors around it.

Treat each mode as a fresh test

Dungeon is solo, Arena is player-versus-player, and Co-op shares one star between two players. Try the same core idea in the mode you actually play, change one or two cards at a time, and keep the lineup that feels useful to you. There is no single deck presented here as universally best.

    What the share code keeps

A deck code contains the eight selected cards in order. It does not contain ownership, card levels, stars or equipped evolutions, so treat it as a lineup to try rather than a saved account loadout.
